Day 6: The Rockies may crumble

Happy Wednesday! Decided to sing a little Gershwin today. I will not lie to you, there are a lot of jazz standards I would love to do, but dang, those suckers are tough harmonically! I had to rule out a couple options because I kept somehow ending up in keys even more distant than were intended while singing a cappella.

While I was checking the words to this tune, the lyrics to the intro verse felt pretty relevant. Remember to be kind! All we've ever truly got is each other.

Hugs,

Gen

The less I comprehend

The world and all its capers

And how it all will end

Nothing seems to be lasting

But that isn't our affair

We've got something permanent

I mean in the way we care"
